"This is a letter I sent to Dr. Harvey L Shuster DDS, Dr. Shuster, This letter is extremely overdue. On April 12, 2012, you extracted my daughter’s wisdom teeth. Her name is Amanda Zappier and she is now 33 years old. I know her name means nothing to you and I don’t expect you to remember her after 13 years! What you did Dr. Shuster, was destroy her life. You prescribed (in total) 60 oxycodone pills FOR EXTRACTING WISDOM TEETH! See attached prescription print out. From April 12 to May 4, 2012, you prescribed 60 opioids in total. Advil would have been sufficient! What you did was get her addicted to opioids, which resulted in 10 ½ years of struggling with drug abuse. She started with your prescription then heroin, then Crack, Meth, cocaine and GHB. She is currently incarcerated for one year and I am the sole caretaker of my 15-month old granddaughter! She has a history a mile long which includes detoxes, rehabs, inpatient facilities around the map, countless hospital ER visits by ambulances, half-way homes, the list goes on! I had to Narcan her three times. My husband and I have spent over $200,000 on my daughter’s sobriety because of your negligence! It's a shame I can't attach a picture of the prescription printout!"

"He's a very nice man, but the whole experience was unpleasant and unprofessional. The office accepted my appointment and said they took my insurance. It turns out that insurance only partially covers it. I would've chosen to go somewhere that it was fully covered. I made an appointment in the morning so I could head to work afterwards. I waited for an hour and a half before he even arrived at the office for the day. When he did arrive, he chatted with a different patient for approximately 30 minutes about his old neighborhood before coming into the room where I was waiting for so long. I won't be going back.
