"I got the small margherita pizza and i added mushrooms. I also ordered a small salad with chicken. The pizza was top notch. Very tasty with a light and crispy, perfectly cooked crust. The salad was fresh and a decent portion for a small. I only ate about half of both and was pretty full. My server was very friendly and the food came out at a reasonable time. I would definitely come back many times for the pizza."

"Excellent wood fire pizza in Connecticut. It was highly recommended by extended family, we stopped at the Hartford pizzeria on our way to Massachusetts. The best pizza I had in a long time! There are various of them owned by the same family. I highly recommend it. Great service, delicious pizza, good prices and good ambiance!"

"I’ve been wanting to try Pepe’s for a long time now, as it’s famously known, and my parents are obsessed with it. I have to say, I wasn’t blown away. The pizza was ok, not life changing, and not the best I’ve had. Maybe because I work in NYC, and have had similar style pies to this, it wasn’t anything special to me? Would I eat it again? Sure. Would I drive out of my way just to go here, no."

"I can't recommend this, look at photos. $19 small white clam pizza, they can't even be bothered to distribute the toppings evenly over crust all the way to end. I thought pizza is supposed to have a crust handle, this is a flatbread, like an extremely chewy cracker that aches your jaw, with a dry topping. Apparently no handle leads to a burnt crust based on the cheese pizza. They're not careful about making their pizzas here."
