"Beautiful location and wonderful stay! It feels like home and we had a great time enjoying our balcony and making a fire. The Inn provided everything we needed to do so! The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed breakfast in the morning."

I'm from a town nearby, Colebrook, have spent many days and evenings in Norfolk, playing little league baseball when I was a child, going to the Norfolk Country Club to carry my mother's golf bag, attending events at the Yale Music School, looking at art exhibits at the Norfolk Library, swimming and lying in the sun at Toby Lake, driving to my prep school, Salisbury in Lakeville, going to horse shows, going to an auction along Route 44 to buy horses, country life in its most pure form. It was a beautiful weekend in any area that has taken care of its heritage."
"We spent a lovely weekend at the Manor House Inn. Our room was charming with antique furnishings and a view. The bed was comfortable, the bath well stocked and clean. We enjoyed in particular the sun room and the great room with vintage decor. Breakfast was impeccable, the service very attentive and welcoming. The entire staff was clearly very concerned with every aspect of our stay, including providing advice for exploring the local scene, like the library, food and drink, and the farmers' market."

We were able to take advantage of the New England weather with the cozy porch and appreciated the Tiffany stained glass windows. The interior decorating and cleanliness created an inviting warm welcome feeling and the outside grounds with a fire pit was perfect for a beautiful August evening. The food service was exceptional and timely allowing our group to focus on collaboration and building relationships in a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Rachel for your hospitality."
