"I won $115 today at lotto, my wife left me 5 years ago today and i was abused in state care when i was a child. Its only a small win but means alot. I was going to buy alcohol today but that $115 put me in a better mood"

"Seems to be alot of staff in the deli chatting but very little hot food and the sandwiches are revolting. This deli used to be great a year or so ago but is going majorly downhill. I'd rather travel the distance and shop at new world city centre."

"UPDATE: New World got around to contacting me eventually to apoplgise for the poor service and offer a refund on the defective eggs. TLDR: New World knowingly sold me a disgusting, unedable, broken egg. Purchased a carton of 12 New Day eggs, upon reacing the checkout I realised one of the eggs was deformed - not broken but actually deformed with a hole in it. The attendant asked if I wanted another carton but there were no more left to switch it with. Instead I asked if they could remove the one gross egg and apply a discount to account for me purchasing one less egg. they said they couldn't do that but I don't see how that is the case as I'm pretty sure a manager could do this in a matter of moments. I asked if I could chat to a manager about it but I never got to speak to any manager. I'm not even certain that the attendant actually went and found their supervisor in the first place when I asked her to. I feel very ripped off as I had to pay for the egg that isn't usable, and the checkout attendants were very rude, gossiping to each other and not even looking what they were doing as they continuously ran the conveyer belt so that my basket kept bashing into me as I attempted to unload it. This is not the first time staff have been rude to the point of concern while I have been at gardens neworld. I don't like shopping here at all any more, almost all of the cans on the shelves are dented and I've brought nice cheeses that have expired before reaching its best before date countless times from this store. Unfortunately it's the only supermarket close to my house."
