"I hesitated to write this as I like the staff, but the food standards in this place are shocking. At least once or twice a month I see pasta or pies that are mouldy being sold and on occasion you buy one and after a day or two, and well before the sell by date, it's totally rotten. It's seriously disgusting and only a matter of time before someone gets sick from eating rotten food that they haven't taken off the shelves. It's not an issue of sell by date either, as it's usually gone off well before, I suspect they are either storing food incorrectly or it's been stored incorrectly before it gets to them. Either way be very careful with what you buy."

"An old tired store, narrow aisles, low ceilings. Feels cramped. Old fashioned separation of in and out, so no shortcut access to bypass fruit & vege. Product range ok, not a lot of exotic items, or invitational treats."

"Use to love this place... Was usually my regular wine stop as I live close by. Last 4 times I brought my wine didn't get asked for id as they know me. A girl I went to school with was working today and she knows my age. I had left my id card in my friends car so they sent me photos of both front and back.. still wouldnt sell me my wine! Never going back here. They hardly have what you need anyway! Don't recommend as a local store."
