"The service and atmosphere is great. But the food is seriously lacking. Either the cooking oil needs to be changed or the cook because omg the food has gone downhill in the last 2 Months of when I’ve bought food the fish and chips has been revolting. Over cooked fish and soggy batter, snapper at that, hard potato fritters and the bread has some kind of spray paint taste. I don’t what’s happened but won’t be buying fish and chips from here again until it gets sorted, smith and wongs for it they way cheaper and tastier. My kids don’t even wanna finish the food. The only things I’d buy from there now are the kina and oyster pots."

"Very inconsistent. Bought smoked kahawai recently - was raw in the middle & very bitter? We keep going back for takeaways because my partner loves the crumbed snapper but there's nothing else I'd really recommend."

"Used to be 5 stars and now is disappointing, zero star, if there is an option for that. The batter of the fish used to be crispy and tasty in the past. It was one of my preferred fish & chip store, it was good value for the quality, but not anymore. The batter was greasy and soggy. Tasted disgusting. The tables and chars were dirty and filthy. We dined in on Sunday, 14 Aug 2022. I hope they will take feedback seriously and bring back the crispy and tasty batter, on top of keeping the table and chairs clean regularly (more so during COVID Orange alert level)."
