"I wish they wouldn’t allow those pushy annoying charity salesman at the only entrance to the store. Happy to support charities but these guys really hassle people and take advantage of people’s kindness, those who don’t want to be rude and walk away."
"I ordered groceries online and someone else's order was delivered to me. I rang immediately and spoke to Kira who said my order had just left and should be there soon and to send the order back with the delivery driver. Half an hour passes and no one came. I rang again and spoke to Kira again who said she will have to drop my groceries off. Kira was not apologetic. An hour goes by and I still had not received my order and I tried calling the store multiple times and there was no answer. I got online to speak to someone and waited 20 minutes just to talk to someone who then had me wait a further 15 minutes while they try and contact the store. I was then told that the online orders team had gone home. I was offered delivery in the morning but I was not going ro be home so I got a refund. They offered me free delivery on a order which was pointless as I have a monthly subscription. I spent 3 HOURS on a Friday night waiting for and trying to get my food when I had other plans. Previously I have had missing bags of groceries that I had to collect on multiple occasions and had my order delivered to the wrong house but staff did handle those occasions better."
"Dystopian 'self-service' checkouts increasingly dominate as there are less and less actual human staff to interact with. Given Woolworths has just been caught out underpaying their human staff long service leave, perhaps this is their way to avoid it. What a horrible experience it was being in this store. The actual staff there are nice but there are not enough of them. Considering the profit margin of Woolworths and the amount of single-use plastic you are peddling, would it be so hard to provide a few people with employment?"
