Dr Kerri Thomas, a Darwinite at heart with a love for the Outback, is an experienced and highly qualified clinical psychologist. With a Master of Clinical Psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Dr Thomas has been running her private practice since 2010. Although she is now based on the Sunshine Coast, she continues to run a week-long clinic in Darwin each month, serving the local community.
Dr Thomas is the Northern Territory's only Certified Gottman Therapist, specializing in working with couples to deepen their connection and create more meaningful relationships that will stand the test of time. Through her expertise, she has had the privilege of supporting numerous couples in dramatically improving intimacy and managing conflict in healthy and positive ways.
Using a solution-focused and evidence-based approach, Dr Thomas has a particular interest in anxiety, depression, and relationship counseling. Her goal is to help individuals thrive by finding new ways of dealing with challenges, developing a new way of life without a sense of hopelessness or guilt. She offers guidance and support to help individuals overcome anxiety and live a life free from extreme worry.
