"The room is nice and large even with 3 beds. The bathroom is HUGE. The shower is lovely and clean and no mould stains. The water pressure is excellent and the water gets really nice and hot quickly. The room is wonderful and dark at night which is wonderful because I hate light intruding into my sleep space."

"I found the owners to be really lovely. They were going through some family stuff at the time so were not on site but they were contactable. Problem was that the room I was assigned had a blocked shower, which wasn't evident until I was standing in it :( They returned my call immediately and we arranged for me to move rooms first thing the next morning. The next room was ok. They said I got a 'free upgrade' to a spa room, but I don't use the spas so that was irrelevant. Prior to paying the account I asked the receptionist (who was lovely), if they would consider giving me a discount. I realise they had a lot going on at the time but so did I and moving rooms was a complete pain in the bum, not to mention standing in other people's drain water... No discount. Charged me full price for this less than adequate stay. So, communication was great, people were lovely. Beds were comfy but rooms were mostly yuk and no PR strategy to 'apologise' for the gross experience and inconvenience. No more business from me. They've recently taken over so hopefully they make some great improvements and get their act together. I wish them luck."

"Terrible service. Rude receptionist .. room was completely filthy carpet looked like the scene from a CSI movie minus the chalk outline of a deceased person full of deep stains and feel of grot between your toes. Hand basin and drains overflowed and old and dated. Hot water was poor. the balcony and view was ok but the balustrade was loose, I'm sure those looking at meeting their maker only a short rattle will send you over the edge to erase the memory of the filth in the room. Complaining to house keeping that insisted the carpets were steam cleaned last week. She didn't understand my request for some of the drugs she must have consumed if she believed the room was suitable for habitation. Under repeated request they relocated us to a smaller room who's pungent smell of mould reminiscing the age of the black plague. The owner refused to give a refund, and hence we left for another accommodation. Completely ruined our visit to Toowoomba"

"It took all day of visiting reception to be able to find someone who was in the office (this was 3.34pm until someone was actually there to check-in. I had to ask how to find my room which was actually a short drive away. I walked up to the door to the room to find the bathroom window open and you could see into the shower. As I opened the door to the room I was instantly hit with an overpowering smell of deodorising spray aiming to mask the musky smell. The back sliding door was open about an inch and kept locked with a key chain....the door couldn't be closed! The back deck off the room had two large holes in the timber decking from rot. Despite being a smoke free room, on the table was a full ashtray both on the deck and front door. The dust and mould was so overpowering I instantly reacted with a tight chest, coughing and watering eyes. The tracks of the doors were filthy and the carpets old, stained. I left immediately and found alternate accommodation. I booked here purely for convenience as I was undergoing a training course for 4 day in the event centre attached. The restaurant was closed which was the main reason I booked, so I could stay, eat and study at night. There was nothing to advise prior, that the restaurant was closed, only a note on the desk in the room. The reception was unattended so I couldn't advise them I was leaving. On return the next day for my course, I again attempted to seek reception more than 5 times, each of which it was unattended. When I finally got to speak with someone they were completely dismissive and said "oh well". Avoid this place at all costs. The events facility is filthy as are the toilets, complete with constantly running taps and leaking toilets. These were not cleaned or restocked for the duration of the 4 day course. Instead a stack of toilet rolls and hand towel packets just left on the countertop. I really don't like saying negative things about places but I could legit see this place on hotel nightmares. Avoid."

"Let me start by saying the one staff member that was available was very accommodating. With that said the floor had massive stains all over it, the TV was so dark we couldn't watch it, the bed was very old and extremely uncomfortable, the deck was old and unstable with major cracks in it, the a/c worked but the remote wasn't linked to it and couldn't control the temperature and the hot water wouldn't turn off in the shower. The hotel advertising a bar and a restaurant with room service, which was a huge draw for us. Upon arriving both were closed for a month the sign stating they are having family issues but the staff member said we don't open them for the month of January. All in all I highly recommend staying anywhere but here."
