"Took my car to the mechanic before I bought it. He didn't even touch it and gave it the all clear and it was overheating on the way home. I told him overheating was the issue and was told he did a radiator test which I know for a fact mechanic's don't do. Very very dodgy I have also heard from several people this is the case. "Fixed my car there 7 month ago, always wanted to review just keep forgeting. But i got such an honest and proffessional service there and everytime i cross into an unhonest mechanic its reminding me how great was the guy at huon motors which i dont remember his name anymore. My clutch didnt work properly, one mechanic said i need to change the whole clutch and quoted 800$. I went to huon motors by a friend's recomendation and he fixed the clutch in 5 minutes. I was amazed. Done some more small different stuff on the car and charged a fair price of 100$. As a backpacker i dont usually encounter such a great honest service from mechanics. Thank you huon motors!"
"Don't trust this guy, he's in the business of ripping off travellers. Makes his money doing patch up jobs so the car works for two weeks before breaking down again. Works in conjunction with the guy who sells cars on the main road in Huonville. The cars are all poorly fixed even though they have apparently been 'serviced' by Huon Motors."
"They are really good!! And amazing. Before i had accident by the car. I thought someone can't fix this car. When i was in another service center, They said it's 3000$. But i went this shop. They said just 750$ and they absolutely fixed it. Really amazing!!"
