Welcome to Wyong Drama Group, located at 160-162 Pacific Highway in Tuggerah, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to providing the community with a diverse range of high-quality theatre experiences. Our goal is to support, nurture, and showcase the unique talents of our members in an atmosphere of fun, friendship, and enthusiasm.

One of our upcoming events is the INEXT Play Reading, taking place on Wednesday, September 20th at 7:30 pm at the Red Tree Theatre on the mezzanine level. This play reading is an opportunity for theatre enthusiasts to come together and enjoy a captivating performance.

In addition, we recently held a raffle for the play "Two Weeks with the Queen," and we would like to congratulate the winners. Rachael of Watanobbi won first prize, while Peter/Helen of Point Clare came in second. Sue D., who was present at the draw, won third prize.

One of the productions we have on offer is "The Full Monty," set in Sheffield, England. This heartwarming story follows six unemployed men, four of whom are former steel workers, as they form a male striptease act to raise money for a fresh start in life and for the main character, Gaz, to reconnect with his son. Audiences will be captivated by this tale of determination and friendship, and will be left wondering if these lovable misfits will ultimately succeed.

Another production to look forward to is "Crown Prince," a comedy adapted from the novel by Morris Gleitzman. The story revolves around Colin, who is on a mission to speak to the Queen about his brother Luke, who is battling cancer. Cousin Alistair, eager to help, finds his own stress-induced dandruff getting in the way.

For those seeking a lighthearted comedy, we present "Ladies' Day," which follows four spirited women from the Hull fish docks on a day trip to the races. This play, written by the same author as "Be My Baby," promises to entertain and leave audiences in stitches.

Looking ahead to our January production, we are excited to present our version of the Pantomime, a beloved tradition at Wyong Drama Group. This family-friendly performance is sure to bring joy and laughter to all.
