"Recently I placed a pickup order for 4 meals. The 2 x schnitzels meals, the schnitzels were over cooked and hard not edible, the chips were overdone and soggy, not pleasant at all, thrown in the bin. The pasta meal wasn't the pasta ordered, and even the replacement was wrong. 1 out of 4 meals was edible. With the cost of living these days, spending almost $100. on food which is not edible is disgusting."
"We had a booking for 8, staff were quick to take drinks orders, and then meal orders. Food was great, service serverely let them down. Our 1700pm booking, we had finished eating and started tidying the table up ourselves around 1830pm. Cafe was not overly busy. Around 1840pm one of our guests went up to counter to enquire about desserts and staff advised would be over in a moment. This staff member then went off to clear tables and did not return to us at all. Just before 1900pm we decided that was enough, proceeded to counter to settle our bill to see 4 staff members ignoring us playing on their phones, and the same foh staff member who said he would come take our dessert orders stopped clearing the one used table to then take our payments."

"Shared a delightful evening with tasty Wood oven baked pizzas and red wine. Staff were really helpful and friendly, bringing water out for our border collie and serving with a smile. Very relaxing atmosphere, either inside or out. Can recommend this cafe in Mount Barker."
