"Most meals were ok, however the steaks that we asked to be medium well done were horribly under. They did try to fix this but honestly the steak that came out wasn't much better. Steak was far to fatty on both accounts, didn't have the heart to complain again. The staff were lovely though. Kitchen needs work."

"I visited to tonight for dinner. Very disappointed with the service as we were "greeted" by the "host" who pointed to a booth and said you can sit there and come and give me your order. There were maximum 3 other customers in the shop. Ordered 2 steaks, one medium and one well done. The medium was blue and the well done was still cold in the middle. When I spoke to our "host" I was informed that she would let the chef's know. Never heard from her again. Won't be back"

"Love this place. Our son had his first 18hr legendary steak and fell in love. Hubby got the Mega portion and I enjoyed the ribs. Service was great as well. Would definitely go back."

"The pulled beef on the nachos was extremely dry and crispy and then the waitress forgot to bring out a spoon with my dessert and also forgot to bring one back when I asked. So I went up to the counter to ask for one and rather than walking to the kitchen to get a clean one, they gave me the tea spoon from the coffee machine. Not impressed with the food for the cost or the service. Friend also had a steak and a dessert and it cost her $62. We understand that food is getting more expensive but when you don’t even get table service, they forget basic cutlery, and waited over an hour for our food there really isn’t an excuse for the expensive prices."

"Ahh the sweet succulent taste of nostalgia. Slow cooked prime ribs with a calamari topper, traditional cut, medium rare were integral to my youth. Fast forward to my teens and Hogs went off the rails - really lost their way. Fast forward to now and the prodigal son has returned. Loved the steaks. Loved them. Exactly how I remember the Hogs of old. I will always forever and ever (and ever), choose curly fries over any other side. I am an adult and this is my prerogative. There is a sign apologising for being short-staffed. Not to worry - most staff seem to be average height and even the shorter ones (like the young lady who served us) were friendly and helpful - so no apology necessary. The bar is average but generally the venue is good. Great location. Even the outdoor seating, while loud, is surprisingly decent. I quite like the table numbers - I'd like to know how many have accidentally been thrown out while clearing tables. Five stars to the short and tall."
