"Absolutely disappointing policy. “Savers” doesn’t live up to its name, not saving anyone a penny, rather being a greedy company who doesn’t have any values whatsoever! Recently I had purchased some items for my family to try on, because everyone is busy with their schedules, I volunteered to go shopping for us all. I thought “Once they try on at home, we’ll keep the ones that fit and I can return those that don’t.” I was left with 3 items. Returned within 7 days of purchase, with tags on in great condition (same as when I bought them). Apparently no refunds, not even a credit voucher!! Only exchanges. What a ridiculous system. The least Savers can do is to offer a credit voucher. The staff tells me “go pick anything you’d like and we can exchange” honey I already bought the things I need, at least give me a voucher so I can come in when you have new stock! Also, you only know “exchange only within 14 days” after you make the purchase, no one tells you beforehand! I am absolutely disgusted by this sort of policy. How are people meant to ‘save’ when you don’t even offer them a chance to keep their money. If it was a couple dollars I wouldn’t be fussed, but it was a decent amount especially in this economy! Savers takes advantage of those who are in need, on concession, and have to thrift by necessity!"

"Whoever is doing the item pricing there now must think they’re working at david jones or something. Better off buying brand new for what you get here now. Don’t see the reason why there’s such a price hike when the stuff being sold are donated. Used to come out with a lot of stuff for cheap, thought it’s meant to be for the community and charity but they’re acting like resellers in there just up for a big profit."

"Great bargain, and good way to save the planet! Bought winter items for less than 20 AUD. There is a long line at the changing area. Friendly staff. Remember to buy only what you need. Go on Sundays for students and senior discounts. There's also Salvos nearby, so you can check there first."

"This place is massive and for me - too big plus too expensive. A piece of Tupperware was selling for $8 which is way over priced. I saw a vase that was selling for more here than it did retail. If you have time, this is definitely a place to kill an hour or so but clothing literally is stacked full. Not much in the way of furniture. I was after old VCR tapes for the covers. $2. You can’t give them away these days. There are regular sales and Boxing Day will be one of them. Stall see great. Good parking. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly."
