In light of the ongoing pandemic, it is mandatory for all parents, carers, guardians, and staff to be fully vaccinated before entering our premises. Upon arrival, we require you to check in using our QR code and present your vaccination status to our staff members. This can be done through the Services Victoria app, a printed copy of your certificate, or a letter of exemption from your doctor. Regrettably, children cannot be unsupervised within our facility, and if proof of vaccination is not provided by the parent or carer, we will be unable to admit the child.

To comply with density limits, we kindly request that only one parent or guardian per family attends the facility. Our squash court will continue to serve as a marshalling area before your child's lesson, ensuring a smooth and organized experience for all.

In line with safety protocols, we ask that patrons limit their use of the changeroom facilities during this time. Additionally, parents and carers are required to wear masks while inside our facility. However, our teaching staff are not required to wear masks while conducting lessons. For parents participating in our tadpole classes, masks are not necessary while in the water with your baby.

Rest assured that our Covid Safe Plan has been updated to reflect the current government requirements, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all our students and staff. We take the health and well-being of our community seriously, and in the event of a reported case of COVID-19 on our premises, we will follow all directives from our state health authority and adhere to thorough cleaning and disinfecting procedures.

At Sweeney's Swim School, we prioritize hygiene and cleanliness. Our increased cleaning schedule includes regular sanitization of equipment used during lessons. For our tadpole classes, we encourage parents to bring their own bubble float and small bath toy to each lesson, further enhancing safety measures.

To facilitate the "Get in, Swim, Get Out" approach, we have partnered with Great Aussie Swim Parkas, offering our customers a 15% discount on their fantastic products. These swim parkas are designed to keep your child warm and comfortable before and after their lessons.

Our ultimate goal at Sweeney's Swim School is to ensure that each child feels safe, strong, and confident in and around the water. Whether your child is just starting their swimming journey or looking to refine their skills, our experienced and dedicated instructors are here to guide them every step of the way.

If you were enrolled with us during our last closure on Friday, August 6th, please note that your enrollment remains valid, and there is no need to re-enroll. We will also honor any existing make-up lessons, although they can currently only be booked one day in advance. Simply give us a call on the day you wish to arrange a make-up class, and we will do our best to accommodate you based on availability.
