A brief history of our school dates back to 1949 when Monsignor James Donovan proposed the establishment of a church and school on the current site to cater to the Catholic population of Caringbah. The building was completed in 1949 and dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima, becoming a Church and a school in 1950. The dedicated nuns from the Order of the Sisters of Mercy staffed the school, and it began with an initial enrollment of 78 students.

Our mission at Our Lady of Fatima Primary School is to inspire and empower success for all in a faith-filled environment. We envision our students as thinkers, creators, and innovators who thrive in a changing world.

As part of Our Lady of Fatima Parish, our school actively brings the Gospel alive in our community and shares the values of the Catholic Church. We also recognize our role within the local community and have strong ties with various local groups and organizations.
