Additionally, she has expertise in sculpture, photography, printmaking, ceramics, and media. With her extensive knowledge and experience, Maree brings a wealth of artistic techniques and skills to her classes.

Having spent many years teaching at high schools, Maree decided to follow her passion for art and teaching and established her own studio in Dural in 1995. Since then, Dural Art Studio has become a thriving center for art enthusiasts of all ages. Maree conducts a variety of classes, including the popular Kreative Kids Art Classes, which allow children to explore their creativity in a nurturing environment.

Maree's artistic style is versatile and encompasses various mediums and techniques. She excels in drawing and painting, specializing in realistic, abstract, and expressive styles. Maree incorporates pastels, paint, pen, pencil, ink, and graphite to create her stunning artwork, often showcasing an impressionist influence. Her inspiration is drawn from the breathtaking natural surroundings of Dural, the Australian landscape, the North Coast seascapes, as well as the vibrant colors of sunsets and reflections of light. Her recent travels also influence the themes and subjects covered in term classes.

School holiday workshops are held regularly, providing a fun and educational experience for children. Term classes for school children are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a particular focus on high school students preparing for the HSC exams. Wednesday afternoons are dedicated to exploring various drawing mediums.
