Taco Bell Chirnside Park

"Aussies may certainly form their own opinions, but speaking as an American, it was quite different than the U.S. franchise. For one thing, I'm not used to rice in my burritos, nor chips (fries) served at Taco Bell. The ordering process takes a minute, because you specify what "protein" you want in almost every item - ground beef, steak chunks, pork, chicken, or beans. We got several items to try, The meat was bland with no detectable seasoning, the Crunch Wrap was more like chewy, soft bread, no sauce packets supplied (though perhaps I could have asked for them, IDK?), the hard shell taco I got had no corn flavor but instead more like hardened rice paper, and the beans protein I chose for my nachos (which I thought was gonna be refried beans or frijoles) was instead whole black beans which fell to the bottom of the box. The item I enjoyed most was the soft taco. Price was acceptable, as between us we got a crunch wrap, burrito, fries, "Stacked tortilla chips", 2 double taco supremes and 2 cokes for $48. On the upside, friendly staff, clean store, drive-thru available, indoor/outdoor seating, supply of pop-up unlimited napkins at each table, ample parking, and free drink refills. I'm glad we went, just to get an idea, but won't be back. Prefer Old el Paso at home if I want Mexican."

"Finding a fast food outlet with vegetarian options isn't easy. So we were pleasantly surprised when the fabulous girl behind the counter explained we could swap dead animals for beans. We ordered the Bell Bundle for 2 and ended up taking some home for dinner, there was so much food.. The table could have used a wipe down, but overall the restaurant area was clean and tidy. Thanks Maeve for your amazing service."

"Overall pretty good, I wouldn’t say a combo meal is really dinner worthy but for lunch it’s perfect, food tasted pretty fresh be it kinda bland without the included source packets. Staff was friendly but the upkeep could be better as bins were overflowing. But yeah overall pretty good an will definitely come back again for a good quick feed for lunch:)"

"I ordered 2 burritos, one without beef and one with, the packaging was swapped and we had already bitten into them. My friend is vegetarian and cant eat meat. So we decided to tell the cashier about it and she replied with "so what do you want me to do about it" in a condescending tone. We waited for 30+ mins for a new one. Only when we asked about it did they finally make it. I feel awful about this experience and hope it wont happen to another person. I hope chirnside taco bell staff will be more careful in the future. There was also no apology"

"Not bad couple of weeks old and the place is grotty and definitely on the way out. Bins full, rest rooms look like a bear has slaughtered a deer. Nobody clearing tables. Water or drinks all over the floor around the drinks machine. When your food is available they just lump everything into a bag with no labelling and you have to decipher who's meal is who's...... Then it's tepid, not hot .... And the serving sizes are small like insufficient for dinner small. We ordered Domino's on the way home Just MEH. With a definate Zero return ."
