"My nail tech was too timid. She tried to straighten my crooked nails with an overlay. My crooked nails were straight but the shape was still very lopsided. It seemed like she knew that she was unable to create perfect sculpted straight nails on natural nails but did it anyway. Instead of sticking to her area of expertise, which are extensions for fixing crooked nails. Even tho the repairs were discounted, I would have gladly paid double for perfect nails. (I clipped them off ASAP) I called to confirm this other concern. This salon will charge an extra fee for gel polish removal on top of a fill service for overlays or extensions. It makes zero sense coz gel polish is inevitably filed off first anyway regardless of the product underneath. Gel polish is easy to file off compared to hard gel/acrylic. Other salons would never dream of charging for a removal unless it's on top of a basic manicure. Others will only charge extra for gel polish application (plus a fill) because it's logical. Gel polish goes on last & costs more than regular polish. It isn't an inevitable step of a fill but an add on."
"Very happy with my manicure (And my boyfriends!) Got a gel French with some designs and both Marie and Nini were very nice and very efficient. The manicure is lovely and very simple. Very reasonable pricing and lots of time slots available. Will come back!"
"I have been having my nails done by Val for three years now, she does a wonderful job and l am often complemented on my nails by friends and strangers and always recommend Val. Maria does the most amazing nail art and is up for any request thrown at her. She is also responsible for the beautiful pedicures here too. Wonderful friendly staff, great acrylic nails and the best nail art too! Just go!"
"Val and Maria are the best nail technician in Melbourne (I've been to most of nail salons in Melbourne CBD and suffered before I found them and will not change to anywhere else) and I've been going to see Maria every month to get my nail done in the last 2 years.
