"First time trying Nepalese food! We ordered fried veg momos, chicken chowmein, mango lassi, and the deep fried pocket thingys filled with vegs and spice (I forgot the name, it was hard to pronounce...). We loved the tastes! Maybe because we are Chinese, and since Nepal is not too far from our home country, the foods suited our tastes very much! My mum even said the noodles in the chicken chowmein are very like her own cooking. My personal favourites were the steamed chicken dumplings in the chowmein, and the mango lassi. They were very good, especially the sauce (or spice) in the dumplings, really made the dumplings special. Mango Lassi is also very unique. It tasted like mango yoghurt smoothie but with a little bit of ginger spice (my mum guessed there's ginger inside it, my little brother said Domino's thickshake is better because he hates ginger XD, and my mum said mango lassi is way healthier lol), I would definitely try the plain lassi as well. The little dinning area inside the restaurant is very cosy. With pictures of Nepal mountains and views, each table had a menu. The waitress and chefs was very friendly! She was the one who recommended tonight's foods! We got table water and some utensils. I can't really eat spicy food but I still wanted to try all the sauces, so I asked her to put both spicy and not too spicy sauce, she was very understanding and did that:D Overall it was a super nice experience! Definitely will try other foods on the menu again with my family"

"I ordered chicken set, which was very small and tasteless. There was less than a scoop of choumin. Chicken drumstick was black in colour (burnt and very dry), everything was tasteless. Choila set very small portion, no salt and taste in anything. Very tasteless for Nepalese cuisine. Definitely not getting food again."

"The food was a huge disappointment, tasted really stale and was extremely salty. We order the chilly chicken that tasted like it was tossed in tomato ketchup. The fried rice was average and chicken lollipops were rubbery and tasted bitter. There weren’t any serviettes, cutlery or serving plates available. Wouldn’t go back here or recommend this place"

"This is my absolute favourite restaurant. The food is always fantastic no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal. Owner and chef both are friendly, always efficient, happy and polite. Hopefully we will get to dine in soon rather than take away and uber eats. Recommend to anyone looking for a real Nepalese taste. Thank you for bringing a Nepalese restaurant at Hornsby. You guys are awesome."
