Reviews
"Stayed at the family apartments for a weekend . We were lucky enough to be up graded to 'the deck' which I was told was the nicer of all apartments. . I was happy with the style of the apartment. Yes it is on the older side, but it was still very comfortable and enough room for my family to be comfortable for 2 nights. Good location with the beach just across the road, even though the road was very busy, it's still very accessible. . I didn't get a chance to experience any local cafes, but they were busy with locals . Would I stay again, yes, yes I would"
"These apartments are older and a bit run down but are kept pretty clean. The units have a kitchen that is well equipped with pots and pans, a toaster, a fridge, cleaning utensils, a microwave. We stayed here for 2 weeks and it was really convenient to cook our meals daily. Woolworths is about 2 miles (3km) away from the apartments. The room we stayed in had 2 bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and another with two singles and one bunk bed. It would fit a family of 6. The bathroom size is quite big but only has a single sink. It is furnished with towels and a hairdryer. A extra thoughtful touch: electric blankets on beds for the colder nights! We were pleased that there was a laundromat but there was also a clothesline outside with pegs provided in each apartment. Soap powder was provided at no extra fee, which is generous of the management. There is ample space for kids to run around it, and a little playground for the younger ones. The staff that was there during our stay, Tracy, was super helpful and made sure we were well looked after. The big plus about this place is the proximity to the beach. Even though it is facing Point Nepean Rd, with the doors closed, the sound of traffic was faint and not bothersome at all. We stayed on the upper unit and we could not hear traffic from the back bedroom. Why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is there was no WIFI and I believe that this should be a staple offering for hotel businesses. Having said that, I really enjoyed being here and hope to return one day."
"Clean apartment, somewhat dated, good kitchen, with large fridge and a dishwasher. Great location, directly across from the beach. Staff were very nice and accommodating. No wifi available. There is a split system in the lounge, but no air-conditioning or heating in the bedrooms. 1 bedroom has a ceiling fan. The beds have electric blankets, which was great as the bedrooms were cold (stayed there in winter). I imagine they'd be very hot in summer. You need $1 coins for the washing machine. I enjoyed my stay there."
"Clean, cozy and comfortable apartments and great value for money. Great option if you are looking for 2 bedrooms and self catering. Location was good and Lisa was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Definitely recommend this place if you want to explore the Mornington Peninsula. We’ll be back for sure."
"My apartment was extremely well presented and clean. Very well stocked kitchen with all I needed. I was made very welcome by the attending staff member on arrival. The apartment is large enough for a big family. Only problem was no fly screens on the window of the bedroom I used so I couldn't open it. However it does have a remote-controlled ceiling fan to move the air. So close to the beautiful beach foreshore (literally across the road) with both walking and cycling tracks. Also walking distance to a local café/restaurant The Kitchen at Tootgarook. Just a few minutes drive to Rye and Rosebud along the Nepean Highway and other drives to interesting places to visit. Highly recommend particularly fod family groups! There is an onsite playground too."
