Reviews
"This place is billed as a "3 star" guesthouse, motel and music venue. It is an older house with several common rooms, the walls covered in gig posters. It seemed like a pretty cool spot to stay the night in Katoomba, and relatively reasonably priced for a "motor-inn" style room. The whole place seemed to be covered in dust and very dated. Perhaps the guesthouse rooms were nicer, but our room was dingy and musty. No amount of gold thread on the bedspread would make up for the greasy carpet and the mildew. The water pitcher in the fridge was uncovered, which struck me as odd. The bed was just about as hard as the floor. We only had two bath towels in our room, no hand towel or wash cloths. Wi-Fi was "free," but we could only get a worthwhile signal in the lobby. the continental breakfast can only be described as depressing, as all the guests in the dining area seemed completely deflated at the lackluster array of cereal, bread, and a small tray of fruit."
