"It’s not a 4-star hotel. I was in Room 101 - opposite the lift. Very noisy! Could hear trams passing by as well. Was hard to sleep. Not a good experience. They should block rm 101 for guests. Bathroom needs upgrading. Looked dirty."
"The only hotel to stay at in Melbourne. Close to train, airport shuttle and trams, clean and spacious rooms and staff who cater to all your needs. Great hotel that also thinks of the environment and is reflected in the choices it makes in drinks, food and toiletries. Don’t look anywhere else."

"Loved this place... Stayed for 3 nights (2 nights before we went to buller and 1 night after).. well kept and comfortable rooms, good location, short walk from Southern cross station and close to the free CBD tram stop.. excellent service from everyone at the concierge.. 24 hour concierge.. some rooms have nice balconies.. free coffee and candies for kids.. no complaints! Will make this a go to for our trips to Melbourne.. works well for families with kids."
"Good for an overnight stay, not great for a longer stay. We stayed 4 nights and would not recommend. Bed is really uncomfortable (the sheets are very stiff, and the mattress itself leaves you with body aches when you wake up). The toilet also flushes REALLY loudly, and it’s located against the wall adjacent to the bed so it wakes up anyone sleeping if you go to the loo in the middle of the night. The saving grace of the hotel is that all the staff are extremely nice."
