"Just spent a weekend in Aasleagh lodge with 15 other salmon anglers on a course to improve our fishing skills. Aasleagh lodge was a sheer delight to stay in for the weekend. Rarely have I come across such a combination, of good accommodation, great and friendly service, excellent food and good value, all of which rated 'top notch' and made for a special experience. Everything was capped by the genuine welcome and excellent service provided by all the staff who are a credit to their profession and so relaxed and friendly to all. Aasleagh is on my radar for another visit soon and I coulod not recommend it highly enough!"

"This was my first time in Aasleagh Lodge and what a great experience in hospitality, fishing and scenery. From the moment you arrive you can sense the enthusiasm and pride of the staff for the lodge and in ensuring you enjoy the stay. It's hard not too enjoy this unique place from the warmth and friendliness of the ambience , the amazing scenery, walks and excellent fishery team. If you want marble tiled foyers, loyalty schemes and impersonal 'have a nice day' s , then this isn't for you , This is cozy homely friendly hospitality at its' very best , where nothing is too much trouble , where everyone relaxes and enjoys the beauty of the place and the mystery of salmon ( Indeed the Inland Fisheries next door could and should make much more of the fish lift and hatchery as an educational interpretative experience) . But as for the lodge operation Osgur & Joseph (in the fishery) Shane, Laura, Pearl, Anna and Sarah ( in the house), take a bow . The best hospitality team I've encountered in a long time"
