"An absolute gem. Walked in on a very quiet sunday night to my delight of wonderful clean cold quinness as crisp as snow in a mountain glade. Barman was a gem. A reall peoples man who spun some stories of local history and was very easy to engage with. A few locals where there and as im a dublin man, i was expecting a bit of a stand off.. but welcomed with open arms and i enjoyed the banter... this pub was like a pub from my days.. 80s and 90s a true gem diamond.. If you get a chance of a day or two off visit this place. This type of pub is dying out and must be preservered at all costs.. the guinnes is tops. A true craftsman.."
