"*Edit This has been my regular chemist for many years, the staff have always been very helpful and I've never had a problem before this. The reply to my review has no relevance to the issue I had in an emergency, I tried explaining in 3/4 phone calls, with no help to be had, which was the reason why I left any public review in the first place. As a long time customer/patient, a phone call would have been common courtesy, instead of an ethically questionable reply, (to share my approx distance from the shop?). I've paid for delivery many times, because I am housebound 90% of the time and I was isolated long before covid. So again, no reason for explaining delivery and the impact of covid, to a regular customer. Not at all relevant to the issues here. The only question that needed response was why I had to call back 4 times? Why nobody would listen or help and why I was brushed off on the phone when tying to explain my emergency? And now I ask, why such time was taken to craft a reply not at all pertinent to the review, as if I haven't been using this chemist for years. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful, and I'm sure they are hard working. I know how far away I live, so there was no need to share that publicly. I stand by the disappointment in the lack of help I received, and more disappointed in the reply, which has nothing to do with the emergency situation I was in. If I had been given even half the time and effort put into the reply here, there wouldn't have been a problem. . . . Original post Incredibly unhelpful in getting patients medication delivered in emergency situations. Only a couple of months ago they were helpful to anyone in isolated areas, by not charging the €5 delivery fees. (The only pharmacy I know of, that charge their patients extra) Then this changes, to helping patients only in 'emergency or for the elderly'. Now they won't help, at all, even a regular customer. If you're stuck in a house with no help don't expect this pharmacy to have any compassion, or even let you pay the next day even if they've all your bank and other details and a regular customer. Compassion and and empathy truly are dead when a pharmacy will not help, when they could."

"Blown away by the quality of their online orders. Tried to buy my foundation in a well known Irish brand pharmacy, they where out of stock and unhelpful, they said just order it online. Thank god, that's how I found McGorisks. I only ordered my foundation but got treated like a queen! Excellent work, you have a new customer!!"
