"This break away is one of the best we have had in Ireland. So peaceful and exactly what were looking for. The lodge is spotless, warm & has everything you need for a self catering, relaxing break away. Fully equipped kitchen/sitting room with stove,2 very comfortable double rooms, one with a balcony and an ensuite. Private hot tub & BBQ also.we arrived Sunday evening and loving it. Barry also sent us lots of info on things to do in & around the area. Highly recommend."

"I think before I start you have to know that I normally do 5 star hotels and have never been on any thing like this in my life. Because of the pandemic and health reasons we decided on a couple of days away as we had not left the house since April 2019. I have never enjoyed my 2 day stay any where as much as I did in this cabin. Not only was everything first class but as we talked about it we said that why had we never done this before. This would beat any 5 star hotel that we have stayed in simply because it was home from home. We have now found a whole different way of looking at taking a few days away. And believe me it will be more days away than usual. I really do have to say that it was home from home and it was refreshing. 5+stars. Thank you paul conlon"
"The place itself is just perfect. Surrounded by trees peace and quiet ... The log cabin was amazing: nicely , modern and very clean. Jacuzzi- nice, clean water was 36 nice and warm. Barry who is looking after it was very helpful and all three time under the phone. Highly recommending this place."
"I was waking up early in the morning - 5:30-6:00 - to be sitting on that bench near the river, drinking coffee and enjoying the sunrise and singing birds... breathtaking Beautiful and quiet place to escape from the city chaos. But if you’re looking for something more... there is no attractions around, so if you’re about to rent a cabin don’t rent it for long as you’ll get bored ( 2-3 days should do). I recommend it"
