"We had so much fun staying at Mearescourt with George and his team. We were welcomed into the family for our 2 night stay, even going out to the local pub with the group. Beautiful grounds and a great base to explore the Ancient East. A tour of the Kilbeggan Distillery is a must, as is a walk around The Hill of Uisneach, the Hill of Tara and the River Boyne region. Plan to spend 3 or more days exploring the sights. This area is very underrated with so much to see and do before heading west."
