"Brilliant Tasting in the bar on Saturday. Got a great history of Irish whiskey, was interesting for both whiskey enthusiast and novice. Tasted four beautiful whiskeys and then went onto to sample more from the amazing bar. Had a lovely lunch also. Special mention to Aaron who did the tasting with us, he was brilliant and a real credit to the place."
"Travel October 2022-after a long day of touring around we just wanted to sit down to a smaller meal. We got in right away, and the place was fairly busy but nothing overwhelming. The restaurant can be quite noisy (mostly due to large groups who don’t temper their volume) but we were pleasantly distracted by the mixologist tricks behind the bar and the numerous types of whiskey lining the wall. The food was phenomenal; a charcuterie plate with lots of pickles and spreads, and appetizers arrived quickly. I had a whiskey flight so I could taste a variety at the same time, and the gin cocktails were delicious."
"Four of us ate here and it was excellent. The mussel starter was my highlight with a slightly spicy tomatoe sauce. My wife loved the lobstertail starter. Everything was good though. I had the duck, my wife the wild halibut, and our friends each had the sliders. Some well made drinks as well. The place was pretty busy a few hours after opening, which is a good sign!"
"This whiskey bar was recommended to us. It has 150-180 different kinds of whiskey. Daniel, the bartender was very knowledgeable and engaging. He made us feel like a regular. There were so many choices so we went with a couple of them. We have really learn to enjoy Irish whiskey. They also serve food."
"This place is a must for whiskey lovers!!! Whether it is Irish Whiskey or American (Pappy and all), they have it all. We love Midleton Irish Whiskey and were able to taste a number of special versions that are not available anywhere. We had dinner first and the food was great not expected but pleasantly surprise. Having not looked at the menu prior, our expectation was more comfort or pub food but think more of gastropub!"
