"A truly delightful overnight stay with breakfast at this beautiful, relaxing hotel. The bedroom was lovely, the grounds of the hotel with trees and flowers were so peaceful and beautiful. The staff couldn't be better. They were friendly and helpful. All of the staff on Reception were excellent and so courteous. Johannes was so polite and helpful and with such personality. My only complaint was that food in the bar was rather expensive. We will definitely come back. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this elegant, lovely hotel. Anthony and Mary Redmond."
"We had our wedding at the Maryborough last week and we cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and staff. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating and did their utmost to make the day as enjoyable and seamless as possible. Every staff member we dealt with went above and beyond to ensure we had the best day possible. The venue, grounds, food, atmosphere were all outstanding."
"The staff at were incredible! They took care of our every needs so efficiently and went above the call of duty to ensure we had a perfect stay. The atmosphere is brilliant and having such a great friendly team that made everything so easy was what made this hotel exceptional. Thankyou so much for having us I can’t recommend this hotel enough."
"We stayed at the Maryborough as a couple for a wedding. The food was fantastic and the staff were lovely. The hotel was well decorated and set up for Christmas so it felt festive and special. The orangery where the wedding was held was beautiful. Our room included access to the spa which was well equipped and well maintained. Initially we’d had a room that was a bit noisy due to its location in the hotel, however as soon as I mentioned this to the staff on reception they couldn’t have been more helpful, offering us a choice of two lovely new rooms which were perfect. Johannes on reception in particular was friendly and professional. I would recommend the Maryborough."
"AMAZING hospitality!! My husband and I came for our honeymoon and stayed in the old part of the hotel, though the amount of stairs were annoying, the staff helped in every way possible! Breakfast was pretty good but dinner was super delicious! Spa was absolutely incredible, lovely facilities! If we are ever back in cork we will stay again."
