"Following a lovely canalside walk, we popped in here for some lunch. Staff were welcoming and friendly. There were 'specials' on as well as regular menu - and all reasonably priced. I had a jacket potato and my friends had ham and cheese toasties all served with salad. Very nice indeed."
"Great village pub, friendly and warm, great idea for boaters who travel around with car/s. Pub allows you to use the carpark if you donate £2 to charity. There are 4 different charity boxes behind the bar and you can choose which to donate to. Great idea for other pubs who have boaters ask to use the carpark"
"So many years since I've been in this pub, it's changed a lot. Pretty sure they have taken down a wall meaning the lounge and bar area are joined along the lovely big bar and it's such a lovely welcoming environment. Definitely be back in the new year."
"Went here for a last minute meal. Didn't have to book. Wasn't too busy, friendly staff, nice layout, clean toilets, quite cheap! We had the burger which was amazing value for money at only 7 quid and it comes with chips and salad and it was AMAZING, one of the best burgers we have ever had! So, meal for 2 and 2 drinks each was about 30 quid so we were very pleased. Would definitely return and highly recommend."
