Reviews
"Been on a number of occasions to this restaurant but unfortunately our last visit was disappointing. Four of us went along to celebrate Christmas and ordered a festive lunch. However the food was presented just warm and the stuffing balls were bland and not cooked! We did mention this to the waitress who did her best by bring us hot gravy ( which did heat up the food) and did exchange the stuffing which had obviously been cooked in the microwave for a couple of minutes. So disappointed with the food but the service and atmosphere was good."
"Food excellent at lunchtime.15% off at the moment in week days . Staff lovely. Car park at the back . 2 toilets. Lots of lagers and beers on draughts. Only 3 items available for children menu . Yes would definitely go back ."
"Hi we went here on a Thursday evening well five pm because they stop doing food for part of the afternoon I had lamb shank with Ash and veg Joan had cod Gordon's with mushy peas and chips"
"I ordered gammon steak and prawn cocktail. The food I ordered are delicious and with big portion. The prawn cocktail is just amazing, definitely try this if you are proven lover just like me. Gammon steak is good too, the pork skin is on and fried so it's nice and crispy. My other friend, who ordered salmon and the daily soup - broccoli and stilton, isn't as impressed as the cheese is so dense she said it stick on your lips when you have it. I was there around 2pm Saturday, it's still pretty packed at the time, so make sure you make the booking. The atmosphere was good too! Not sure if it's because it just reopened but the service we got can definitely better. Staffs have good attitude but when serving coffee and bringing cutlery, they left them on a corner of the table (we have a table for 6 ppl) then left, expecting yourselves to pass to whoever needs it. We also waited for a long time to get our dessert menu after asked them for it, then waited a long while again to actually been asked what did we want to order."
