Welcome to Funk Format – the premier institution for Street Dance Styles instruction for adults and children in Southsea, United Kingdom. Our establishment is located at Priory School on Fawcett Road, providing easy access and convenience for locals and visitors alike.

At Funk Format, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality and comprehensive instruction in various Street Dance Styles including Hip-Hop, House, Locking, Popping, and Breaking. Our classes cater to individuals of all skill levels - from beginners to advanced dancers, as we believe that everyone should have access to the opportunity to learn and enjoy Street Dancing styles. We also offer classes for children, from ages 5 to 12 years, who are eager to learn and compete in Dance Battles.

They have many years of experience and have competed in Dance Battles both nationally and internationally. With a patient and engaging teaching style, they strive to create a welcoming, inclusive, and fun learning environment for our students.

We also provide numerous performance opportunities outside of our classes for those who are interested. These performances could be at local events, festivals, and even international competitions.

Lastly, we value a healthy and active lifestyle and, as such, we strive to provide our students with a safe and clean training environment. We encourage our students to practice regularly and work towards their fitness goals.
