"Great three day stay at The Compleat Angler. Our room, with a view of the weir, was top notch. Food at breakfast and in the bar was excellent. A lot of parking space. Could not fault any of the staff - but Marcel and James deserve a mention for their efforts running the bar. Sam was a star at reception, while Olivia and Joel brought a smile at breakfast."

"We really enjoyed our Christmas stay at The Compleat Angler. The setting is perfect, our room was really great overlooking the weir and with our own balcony it was large and well designed, the bathroom was spacious and modern with his hers sinks and a separate bath and shower. The only slight disappointment was the Christmas Day Lunch - the turkey was preformed stuffed roll - not great and a slightly cheapening of the Christmas event. Such a shame really would have been much better with carved fresh turkey. Would recommend staying but maybe not at Christmas when expectations of the trimmings are high.staff are very helpful and friendly."

"The hotel takes it’s name after the book on fishing written by Izaak Walton in the 17th century. Located just next to the Marlow bridge on Thames River, the hotel offers excellent views of the bridge and church on one side and the Marlow lock from their dining room. The place oozes of small-town quaintness and a sense of community. The hotel is great for both stay and meetings. Several pictures hanging on their walls speak about flowers, fishing, and nature. Stay was very comfortable, I liked the fact that they have Nespresso machines in the room, making it my instant favourite! Breakfast also has variety to suit the taste of vegans and non-vegetarians alike. They have ample parking space in the front."

"The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant. Our waiter, Joel, was most enjoyable as well as efficient. We loved our experience there and would recommend. The setting is beautiful, the town is great to walk around and the whole atmosphere is relaxing."
