"Was our first time visiting, unfortunately we won't be returning the service was shocking we were waiting a while to be seated where we were seated in a very small bar as the dining room was full. We had to wait a while to be served for drinks. The food was ok. The atmosphere did put us off our food as the conversation in the bar area was disgusting especially against women and discussion of women's anatomy. I don't think people should be seated in the bar area for food. With a 10% service charge was laughable."

"Nice pub and nice overnight stay. Rooms are smartly set up, and pub is friendly. Great place for my evening business meeting too. I've just had a second visit here and it's just as good, if not better, than last time. The room I had this time was larger than last time. Also the dinner was a notch up too."

"Another excellent dinner with friends last night at the Bull. The £20 for three courses deal really can't be beaten, and the portions seemed a bit bigger than last time as well. Staff very friendly and efficient too. We will be back soon."
