"Honestly stumbled on this pub by chance and wow. The best country pub I've been too. Cosy warm, unreal food and dessert was amazing. Staff spot on dog friendly, views are beautiful. Great pub you should go if your googling pubs nearby you won't be disappointed"
"A warm and welcoming pub with lots of character. My boyfriend and I popped in after being on a long walk and they were accommodating despite us having not booked a table and it being Boxing day. We only intended on having a snack but the menu was too impressive to ignore and we went with the pot roast pheasant and rabbit and ham hock pie. Both were incredible but the pheasant was especially beautiful and we both left full and happy. Thank you for squeezing us in, we'll 100% be back."
"Have driven past the Rose & Crown every working day for the last 20ish years. This last Sunday we had lunch with friends there, great!! Will definitely return. Good choice of beer, friendly staff and landlady, food was very good and a decent portion, and very fairly priced for the quality. Would recommend."
