"This place is a hidden gem!! Stayed here for a night before a morning flight from East Midlands. Perfectly located for the airport and there was a bus that stops right near and drops you right at the terminal. The room was fantastic value for money. Had a kettle with teas and coffees. Also soap was provided. Bed was very comfy, and the bedding smelt lovely and fresh, as did the towel. Free WiFi was available in the room and tv with freeview. Upon arrival I was shown to my room by the bar staff who was really friendly. Had a couple of drinks in the pub, chatted to the proprietor, landlady and a few locals who were all very welcoming. Bar has an amazing selection of gin available. Was really easy to check out, just leave the key in the room and vacate. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone."

"Disaster ! Very Loudly and noisy because the pub is on the ground floor, no chance to work or study during the day or sleep, extremely old rooms, bathroom is around 1,5m2 with mold on the walls and ceilling, terma in the shower so almost impossible to have proper temperature of water, one socket in the room, none socket in the bathroom, mattress old and used. Dirty! The carpet behind the bed has never seen vacuum cleaner. In the room is cold - heaters does not work. Definitely NOT RECOMMEND!"
