"Been there today for an evening walk with my dog, beautiful and peaceful lake surrounded by wildlife and trees. Very calm and relaxing experience , path can be bit uneven and muddy...be prepared. Don't forget to take your camera :) Ps: it's just a walking/stroll path not a picnic spot. However there are few benches here and there."

"A beautiful lake but be warned it can be very muddy, I was lucky today and able. to get around the mud. Lots of swans and ducks also some geese and we were lucky to see a deer in the meadow."

"Nice walk with the dog. Clear grass pathways, signposts all around. Nice scenery and after a circuit around the lake with numerous stops we finished in the fox and hounds pub right next to the lake. Dogs allowed and a nice beer in the garden."
