"Last minute booking. Check-in was easy and friendly staff. Room was as described. It was neat and tidy. Room could do with a small fridge amd a few bottles of water in the room. Whilst UK doesn't see a heatwave too often, perhaps having fans available in the room to help circulate air as it was very hot and muggy (and I'm sure if we had thought about asking the staff, this was something they could have accommodated). Facilities were good - particularly having access to the pub was convenient. Food was yummy and the outside garden seating was good. Would recommend getting extra umbrellas or at least cushions to sit on the chairs, especially when the weather is warm as the seats do get hot very quickly in the sun's rays!! Overall, the location was perfect for our needs and it gave us a reasonable comfy roof over our head for the night with food and drink a plenty!"
