"Good traditional pub, good selection of beers and spirits and it's good to see the pool table and darts boards instead of seating areas to flog restaurant foods. Also a good beer garden to the rear and children are made welcome."

"I have been into pubs all over the country and never once have I been treated so poorly. If the ‘locals’ want their pub to close down then continue to treat people as you are. In a small group we put over £100 behind the bar before having locals try to start fighting us over the pool table and back door. I would recommend taking the short trip into town from Horninglow to visit any of the better bars town has to offer. (I recommend Prince of Brewers) If I could give less than 1 star then I would…"
"Open 11am just at 11.10am so very quiet. A good pint and a very well kept beer garden. Clean and well maintained bar and toilets."
