"Great pint of beer to be had here recommended by locals as the best ale around. Friendly atmosphere with doggy bowl and biscuits. Tables full on Thursday for the quizz night. A small cosy restaurant area, (dogs not allowed here), must be booked to get a table unless you eat in the bar area. Friendly staff and customers - nice pleasant rest after walking the dog."

"Currently still sat in the Masons Arms after driving across especially for a Sunday Roast. Thankfully booked as all tables around us full & also reserved! Great atmosphere on a frosty family day. Food was amazing! Staff lovely. Just been listening to a local praising their weekly quiz Tues & Thurs evenings. Text to babysitter pending!"

"Go every week for the Pub Quiz, always great friendly atmosphere, choice of ales and ciders is brilliant for such a small pub. Guest beers change virtually every week, which is great if you like trying something new or there is always the popular ales and lagers there every week. Food is fantastic, often something interesting on the specials board too! The loaded fries are a must!"

"We haven't been in the Masons for many years, mainly because we moved away from Micklover in the 1990s. Although the layout hasn't really changed, the pub is welcoming and the food looks very good value for money. Definitely recommend"
