"Derby's first micropub, it's had a few changes in ownership but it's still as good as it ever was. I believe it's owned by Hartshorns brewery, it has a similar decor to Belper House with wooden floors and lots of quirky vintage items adorning the walls; however, it's sill quite cozy and warm. Beer range is decent with a couple of kegs by Beavertown, cask by Hartshorns and guest cask, alongside macro lager, soft drinks and spirits...more than enough to satisfy most people. The guy behind the bar was great, really friendly and a pleasure to talk to. We visited on a Saturday afternoon so it was super quiet; however, given it's location I imagine it'll get busy, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings. Absolutely worth visiting, we'll definitely be back."
