"Not had a "local" for many years and although I don't live in Blackwater, My friends do and we go here most weekends. There is always a comfortable atmosphere here and they have live bands every weekend. Nice garden with lots of space and bands play outside in good weather. TV for footy etc and the Landlady, Donna and her staff are always welcoming and pleasant. If any trouble, its taken outside immediately. They treat their customers well Never had a bad night there. Never left unhappy"

"Only gave 3 because ive only been in once. The pub has changed a lot in 16 years and was busy. They had great live music, clear rules for COVID, which staff implemented and policed well. Great atmosphere (with the music). Police came in for a spot check which was passed. Space for social distancing. Large garden area. One way system in place. We are going back for a band at Halloween"
