"What a really nice pub this is, after a very long 5 hour drive from the north, we needed a good meal, we both had the steak and ale pie served with minted peas and chips. And it was very tasty and filling. The staff were super friendly too 5* from me ☺️"

"Think of 'Sportsman' when you next feel the urge for authentic 'Fish nd Chips'. Excellent quality. The batter used for the crunch on the fish tastes so genuine and yum... and the chips too with the mushy peas. Super serving size. We usually take away and it is packed so well. We love it!!!"
