"Lovely polite staff. For a chain pub the food is great. I really wouldn't be able to tell the difference between what I had and a freshly cooked fish from a restaurant for pub prices this pub is charming. Only let down was the seating area at the back where I sat. Broken fence panels craters in the seating area overgrown hedges etc."

"Was there for a late catch up with a friend. The staff were friendly and also the environment was welcoming. However, on the odd occasion as the door was open you would catch the passive smoke coming in from outside. It's a good place to also bring the family. The general vibe was chill."

"I was served by a very polite and forthcoming gentleman called Jamie. An absolute credit. I came in by myself and didn’t know what to eat or drink and he went out of his way to go through the menu with you and the meal was worth every penny. The cider was brilliant as well. I had a Mexican styled burger with nachos and a draught Thatchers Gold. I had a chocolate sundae for dessert. Really happy, thankyou again Jamie. You know what it’s nice to have someone that smiles and wants to work hard. If I had a business I would employ Jamie right away. I’ll definitely be back. I came here to celebrate and I haven’t felt lonely at all."
