"The champagne breakfast was 10 out of 10. The food was superb, the staff friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. There was plenty to choose from on the menu, something for everyone, and if you had any dietary requirements, those were catered for too. The atmosphere of the Dovecote was relaxed and unrushed. "My first time at The Dovecote, Morley Hayes (my friend had been before) and we had a lovely evening. The décor is bright and charming, the staff are all friendly, efficient and welcoming. But the best thing – the FOOD! I had the steak and it was perfectly cooked and succulent with a sublime flavour, the same goes for the trimmings and sides. For afters, I had an rich, smooth panna cotta that was sooo, sooo tasty, served with freshly-baked Madeleines. Every element of the meal was considered and composed, the chef definitely knows and their art and practises it expertly. I would definitely recommend The Dovecote if you want a special evening."
