"I totally agree that the reception staff need more training in how to be compassionate towards people who are extremely vulnerable going in for these treatments that are provided. I found the staff very clinical and cold and it appears all about the money and the next 50 quid to be secured on your card for an appointment. I was also made feel they were doing me a huge favour when I asked for a sick note for work. This is something which I’m sure a lot of women need when they are going in with their issues re menopause and other procedures which leaves someone mentally unstable and vulnerable. After all a qualified doctor should be able to issue a note to a patient. Thankfully in my case the receptionist asked the doctor and she done it but the reception staff should be more compassionate and not say to me that “this is not something we do on a normal basis” so I was made to feel it was a huge favour, it’s a note which should be no problem."

"Honestly I have to say this clinic is one of the most professional & accommodating places I’ve been to in a very long time. The ladies at reception could not be any nicer or more helpful. The clinic is spotless, welcoming & beautifully laid out. I was horrified to see that they had the need to put signs up saying rude & abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. How anyone could behave towards this clinics staff like this is unbelievable. They are so professional & all my appointments have been a great experience, very thorough & excellent advice given. I’m so happy with my experience here that I continually recommend anyone in need of their services (mine in menopause) to definitely book in. Hats off to all the staff at Fem+, you are doing a super job looking after us ladies when we need it most. See you in another 18mths."

"Dr. Rita inserted my coil today and she was absolutely brilliant! I was turned off by negative reviews and people saying it was super painful but I couldn’t have had a better experience! She was really calming and told me I could ask her to stop at any point which completely relaxed me. It was a quick and easy procedure and lasted approx. 2 and a half minutes so you’re in and out in no time! The pain was about a 3/10 and it’s more so a pressure than anything else!"

"Avoid at all costs. This place is only concerned with business and not with the wellbeing of women/people using their clinic. The other bad reviews of this place are deserved and I wish I had read them before booking and turning up to be treated with severe disrespect and a total lack of sensitivity at a time when I was arriving feeling vulnerable and nervous to get a copper coil consultation. The receptionist barely looked at me when I arrived 6 minutes late after being stuck in traffic on the way, and they told me I would have to reschedule my appointment. Then another receptionist / nurse angrily shouted back to me, when I suggested that maybe they could inform new clients on the phone to arrive a few minutes early, that it wasn’t her ‘problem’ to do that. This is standard practice for a new patient in a clinic to be advised to arrive however long beforehand. The clinic is overall unwelcoming and the front of house staff were impatient and cold and I left completely upset. It left me deeply untrustworthy of the place and staff, I was starting a very delicate process with this place which involved trusting them with my body and their attitude and protocols are totally alienating and upsetting as a new patient. Im writing this to warn other people so you can avoid this experience!"

"I'm so pleased with my experience today with Dr.Gilamberti. Her knowledge and expertise was excellent. It has taken me 10 years to be given answers as to the symptoms I was experiencing. Dr Gilmberti was able to explain everything very clearly and also was very understanding of my concerns and worries, and helped me to feel so reassured by giving me all the facts and options. Most doctors I have been to have tried to put me on the contraceptive pill without even listening to me fully about my symptoms and concerns. Today I felt really listened to, understood and respected in making my own choices about my body. I'm so happy I went and feel so much more empowered in knowing how to move forward. Also should mention the receptionist was so lovely and friendly, and the clinic was absolutely spotless and very welcoming. Thank you!!"
