"Amazing pub. So much choice of beers and spirits. Friendly staff and locals. Had a huge downstairs area too with a log fire."

"More beers choices than I have ever seen in a relatively small pub. Seemed to close fairly early for a Friday night especially considering the number of customers still on the premises. Good fast service. Friendly place."

"Excellent Service, never seen so many beer choices in such a small but pleasant environment. Seems to be popular with locals. Surprised it started closing up so early - just after 10pm). I am not too much of a drinker these days but back when I frequented pubs regularly a Friday night would have been a lock-in. I am assuming they closed at 11.00. I guess pub going is not what it was."

"Argyle on tour! On the strength of its real ales we legged it to this pub instead of the Cheshire and British Lion which had to many idiot Argyle fans. Well worth it!! Mingled with the locals had some Yorkshire bitter and even ate some of the leftover food ( when invited ) from the wake of a local builder. Tried to get taxis....no chance....so legged it back to Mornflake Stadium....brilliant"
