"Lovely place, stunning exterior, gorgeous large but cosy and well separated interior with open fires and beams. Great service throughout from Kirsten. Great Sunday lunch. This is Vintage Inns but has the feel and appearance of a well run independent. Nice atmosphere, very popular, and rightly so! Slightly different experience when we went on a Friday recently, very busy but there seemed to only be 3 members of staff running everything. They were certainly doing their best but could have done with an extra pair of hands. We had the valentines menu which was good and a fair price."

"From the minute we walked through the door the staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. The ales are excellent and the triple roast on the Sunday was fantastic. The room was snug and cosy with plenty of supplies for your stay and the breakfast in the morning was delicious and really set us up for the rest of the day. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Cheshire."
