"A typical little English pub with a great atmosphere and hospitable staff. The pool table is active but not swamped with too many players. Drink prices were good at the fully stocked bar. Large screen TV's provide added entertainment in the form of Live sport. You can expect a live DJ at specific events held for special occasions. Overall, a great place to chill and socialise!"

"Locals rule the roost here, but with that being said, it is a well presented pub, bar staff are friendly, although they could do with learning how to make basic cocktails. A very well looked after place, ran by very caring people. A nice location, perfect for summer drinks outside. Facilities are acceptable with the standard TV's, Dart Board, etc. The bar is lacking on choice which is unfortunate, it appears to only cater for those on tight budgets, which makes sense given some of the clientele, but the price of drinks and bar snacks is typical and matches most other places. On the weekend we visited, we found a somewhat 'younger' crowd, with disco and karaoke as the evenings entertainment. Not a bad place if you live close by, but certainly not worth going out of your way to visit, if you aren't from the area."
